Individuals: This program is designed to provide quality training to individuals for high-demand, high-wage jobs in telecommunications. Students will earn digital badges and a micro-credential upon successful completion, an OSUIT Certificate of Completion and the option to take the ETA FOI or ETA FOT-OSP exam.

The Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, 20 U.S.C. § 1232g (FERPA), was enacted by Congress to protect the privacy of students. It ensures students may obtain access to their educational records and that an institution should not release protected information to third parties. FERPA classifies protected information into three categories: educational information, personally identifiable information, and directory information. FERPA does allow the release of Directory Information without student consent if the institution has given public notice of what Directory Information includes. Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology’s (OSUIT) public notice of Directory Information may be found in the Academic Catalog located on our website, https://osuit.edu/catalog.php.
OSUIT takes every precaution to protect these rights, safeguarding student data against malicious abuse or accidental release. To appropriately carry out this responsibility, OSUIT wishes to make transparent how we use your personal and/or educational information. There are many reasons to release educational information, but one intention behind such release is to assist the student in attaining meaningful employment, employment retention, increased employment mobility. Such information also assists industry partners and employers in finding successful employees. OSUIT may release student information to entities that include but are not limited to current/future/potential employers, tribal agencies, volunteer organizations, professional organizations, foundations, public or private nonprofit organizations, national or community-based organizations. OSUIT will also release student information to entities that have or will pay for a student’s educational experience.
